The TNC-JP-3 is a 50 Ω coaxial surge protector with TNC-type (P-J) connectors, built to safeguard mobile telephone base stations, wireless LAN antennas and a wide range of communication devices. Operating from DC to 3 GHz, it keeps signal quality high with a VSWR of 1.2 or less and an insertion loss of 0.3 dB or less, and handles a permissible power of 10 W. RoHS compliant, it supports impulse currents of 5 kA (8/20 µs, Category C2) and 2.5 kA (10/350 µs, Category D1), limiting voltage to 700 V or less with a DC sparkover voltage of 120 V or more, so antenna lines stay protected against lightning-induced surges.
