Anode Current Monitoring (AnodeMon) is a PLC-based anode cell current monitoring and distribution system designed for cathodic and anodic metal finishing processes, including electrocoating (e-coat) and anodizing. Built on a flexible PLC architecture, AndeMon provides real-time visibility into individual anode cell currents during the finishing process, helping operators optimize performance, improve quality, and extend anode life.
With the optional AnodeHealthᵀᴹ software package, AnodeMon goes a step further by analyzing anode performance data to project when an anode is nearing the end of its service life. This allows maintenance teams to plan service or replacement proactively – before performance degradation impacts product quality or energy usage.
